Do I have to take Level 2 before Level 3?
Yes. Level 2 is the entry requirement for every security license in Texas. Level 3 adds the firearms training a commissioned (armed) officer needs.
Is the online class really DPS approved?
It is. We are a DPS licensed training academy and the online portions are built on the official DPS course materials. The parts the state requires in person, we do in person.
Can I do the whole thing online?
Level 2 and armed renewal continuing education, yes. Level 3, OC and Level 4 each have a part the state requires in person, which you book on our Longview range after the online portion.
