Description

Part 2 completes the Texas DPS Level III commissioned (armed) security officer course after you finish the online Part 1.

Covered in this session:

• Defensive tactics
• Firearms handling
• Firearms proficiency examination

The proficiency exam is very similar to the LTC range test, except Level III students may also choose to qualify with a shotgun.

On completion you receive your certificate of completion (PSP 30). Texas DPS requires copies of both your Level II and Level III certificates when you apply for a Security Officer Commission.
